A Freestanding Soaker Tub with Stunning Wall Details

The old soaker tub and bulky enclosure spanned an entire wall, overwhelming the narrow bathroom and restricting flow. We replaced it with a sleek freestanding soaker tub, which immediately made the space feel more open and elegant. To enhance the area, we added a tile backsplash on the lower portion of the wall behind the tub, complemented by shiplap extending to the ceiling, creating a charming yet sophisticated focal point.

Opening Up the Shower Space

The original stand-up shower was completely enclosed, making the room feel even smaller. We replaced it with a new subway tile shower, designed with a pony wall and a glass enclosure. This change dramatically opened up the sightlines, making the bathroom feel much larger and more inviting without sacrificing functionality.

Modern Flooring with Warmth and Texture

The original white square tile flooring was outdated and cold. We upgraded to wood-look tile flooring, which brings the warmth and texture of natural wood while maintaining the durability and water resistance of tile. This flooring choice adds visual interest and ties the design together beautifully.

An Upgraded Vanity with Dual Sinks

The aging vanity was replaced with a stylish and functional dual-sink unit, topped with a quartz countertop for durability and elegance. The new vanity provides ample storage and perfectly complements the updated design, offering a blend of practicality and style.

Light, Bright, and Inviting Finishes

To complete the transformation, we painted the walls in a light, airy color, enhancing the natural light provided by the skylight and vaulted ceilings. New lighting fixtures were installed to further brighten the space, ensuring a warm and welcoming ambiance both day and night.
