We had the pleasure of transforming an outdated kitchen for a homeowner in Flemington, New Jersey, into a modern, functional, and visually stunning space. This comprehensive kitchen remodel was designed to address the homeowner’s need for improved style, functionality, and convenience while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for family and guests.

The kitchen renovation began with the removal of old vinyl flooring, which was replaced with classic, finished-in-place, wide-plank white oak flooring. This change instantly modernized the space and provided a practical, easy-to-maintain foundation. Next, the outdated countertops were replaced with beautiful Caesarstone quartz, adding a touch of elegance and durability to the kitchen. The project also included the installation of brand-new upper and lower cabinets, complete with modern hardware, providing ample storage and a polished aesthetic.

One of the standout features of this kitchen remodel was the addition of a kitchen island. Designed for both utility and comfort, the island offers generous space for meal preparation, dining, and entertaining. It includes built-in storage and is equipped with power outlets, making it a highly functional centerpiece. The homeowner opted for stools to provide casual seating, creating the perfect spot for family gatherings or a quick meal.

To elevate the kitchen’s character, we installed a rustic brick backsplash paired with custom shelving, adding texture and warmth to the design. Provisions were made to accommodate a much larger, stainless steel French door refrigerator with an integrated bottom freezer, enhancing the kitchen’s storage and functionality.

Finally, new lighting fixtures were installed throughout the kitchen, including under-cabinet lighting to brighten workspaces and enhance the overall ambiance. These updates not only improved visibility but also contributed to the modern and inviting feel of the space.
